A downtown Toronto hosting company that treats your condo like its own

Harbour & Key was started by Mahmoud Mussa after three years of hosting his own downtown condo while working away for weeks at a time — and discovering how few companies would look after a condo the way its owner would. The idea is simple: owners deserve a host who cares about the home as much as the calendar.

Why "Harbour & Key"

The harbour is Toronto — the lake, the city's front door, the place people arrive. The key is trust: the moment an owner hands over access to their home and expects it looked after. Our mark is a doorway with a keyhole, standing on a waterline. It's what we do: keep the door open to good guests and closed to everything else.

The downtown condo we co-host is rated 5.0 from 19 guest reviews on Airbnb — Superhost, Guest favourite, 100% five-star — which tells you how we treat a home and the people who stay in it.

We work only with downtown Toronto condos and apartments, and only in ways the City's rules allow. That narrows who we can help. It also means the owners we do work with get a team that knows their building.

How we work

Candour first

If your home won't earn what you hope, or won't qualify, we say so at the consultation — not after you've signed.

Owner's eye

We walk every home as if we lived there: what to protect, what to store, which neighbour to tell.

Guest warmth

Good guests come back and leave good reviews. We host them the way we'd want to be hosted.

Compliance, quietly

Registration, taxes and records — handled in the background so you never get a letter from the City.

Local partners

Our cleaners, photographers and trades are Toronto people we've worked with, not a marketplace.

Numbers you can read

If a statement needs explaining, we've written it badly. Ours don't.

The people

A small team with a named host manager for every home.

Sample — replace

Mahmoud Mussa

Founder & Principal Host

Mahmoud started Harbour & Key after hosting his own Toronto home for three years. His background is in operations and customer service, which is why the company runs on checklists, photos and plain-language statements. He lives downtown and can name every streetcar route from memory.

Sara Haddad

Host Manager

Sara runs guest experience and turnovers: screening, messaging, arrivals and the photo-checked reset before every stay. Owners have her direct number, and she uses it.

Daniel Okoro

Operations & Owner Reporting

Daniel keeps the calendar, the cleaners and the numbers in line — monthly statements, night counts against the 180-night limit, and the records the City expects you to keep.

Team names, photos, credentials and years of experience must be real. Replace placeholders before launch; remove cards that don't apply.
